Today I decided that I would try a new recipe, which was recommended to me by a friend of mine
The recipe : Butternut Squash Manicotti

The Ingredients

Gotta love Ricotta Beautiful Butternut Squash

I chopped up the squash and added onion and olive oil, lemon juice, and spices!
Lots and lots of dishes

After the squash had baked for 45 minutes, i took them out and made puree

I added the Ricotta Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, and eggs!

Cooking the pasta and steaming up some spinach.
After steaming, I add it to the creamed up cheese mixture
Ready to be stuffed in the shells

The shells are all stuffed, and covered with sauce and cheese


Yum!

A day in the Park

The weather today was perfect. A truly ideal day for lounging at the park. The sun was out but the cool crisp air of fall remained.
As I walked down the park, I noticed an old man, sitting alone at a picnic table, playing his accordion. I was overcome with a surge of happiness as the music filled the surrounding area.
He turned his head as i walked up to his table
"Do you mind if i sit here",
I said.
"Why of course not love, I'd enjoy the company"
He replied with his adorable British accent.
Basking in the sun of the day, I spend the remainder of my lunch break being serenaded by music enjoying the sights smells and overall nostalgic ora that hung in the air of the Riverfront Park.
Never have i ever had a more glorious lunch break.
What a funny old fellow, I wish he was my Grandfather

Today there is a bite of cold in the air.
The wind ripped right through me as i walked to the local restaurant to get some food for lunch
I don't mind cold weather but i don't really appreciate it when I am not dressed appropriately

Today it is raining. And i want the Morton's Salt Girl outfit.


Me: “Welcome to xxx Bank, what can I do for you today?”

Customer: “Do you guys sell gold here?”

Me: “Well, our Financial Advisor can take care of all your commodity trades. Let me introduce…”

Customer: “No, I mean do you SELL gold here?”

Me: “Um… what do you mean exactly?”

Customer: “Can I buy gold?”

Me: “As in… a brick of gold?”

Customer: “Yes, I want to buy a couple of bricks.”

Me: “Um… no.. I believe they stopped doing that in the 1920s.”

Customer: “Well you SHOULD!”

Me: “… Okay.”

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

plus these are way cuter
Today is November 3rd, and you know what that means... Only 30 more days! I'm very Excited about my journey to Peru!
Incase you were unaware- In 30 days i will be boarding a plane and travling across the world to the lovely country of Peru where i will spend the entire month of December basking in the sunshine and enjoying the wonderfulness that that country has to offer.
I'm very exicted
