I get asked this question or some form of this question at least once a week.

Let me just give you a couple examples.
(these are not edited- these are true and actual things people say to me...)
"So how do you pronounce your name ? Carrie? (like Car-ree)"
Ummm no... Its Corrie...

"Corrie... is that a real name? Or do you have another name.."
Ummmm no.... Its a real name. I was named after Corrie Tenboom....

"Corrie....? Isnt that a boys name?"
No..... It can be a boy or girl name...

"Corrie...is that short for something?"
Nope.. just Corrie.

I was at a restaurant and they asked for my name to put on my ticket...
As the waiter came out with the food and called my name, i put up my hand to signal it was me.
He looked at me confused then started laughing
" Oh i was expecting a man!"

I'm tired of it.

Unfortunatly, I've been feeling a little under the weather the past couple days... Spent all of yesterday in bed trying to rest up and get better. I think it worked tho, because today i'm feeling a little better than yesterday! Might be the magic of Dayquill, but hopefully I can kick this SOON... I cant afford to miss work again

Had a really busy weekend... very FULL.
USC (the football team here in South Caroilna) had their first game on saturday. My sister wanted to go and i was MORE than happy to watch my neice for the night.

She was such a sweet little baby but I do realize what hard work it is to be a mother. By 8oclock i was completly exhausted.

yawwwwwwn... OH well! Monday is tomorrow and i get paid on friday
At least I have something to look forward to!

Today someone brought bagels to work! Mmmm what a lovely free breakfast!
Cup of strong coffee and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese
could it get any better than that?





I'm thinking about turning this blog into a sketch blog- I usually draw something everyday while i'm at work...and end up throwing them away just because i nothing else to do with random doodles on scraps of paper...
But i think it would be fun to save everything i draw- even if its ugly or dumb and have a massive collection of my random art.
Might be fun to look back on

Hello to those who actually took the time to visit this rather boring blog

i'm Back from my long wonderful vacation in which i rested
ate good food, and basked in the sunshine
unfortunatly getting a tan didnt make the list, but i still had a wonderful time
