he and i had something beautiful but so disfunctional it couldnt last

As the weekend draws near..

Hey Mr. Post Man, who do you think you are?

Oh goodness where should I start, it has been quite a stressful couple of days. My nerves are just SHOT.
And I have officially decided that I HATE the post office.

So I went to the post office to mail off a little parcel that someone ordered off my and my sister’s Vintage Website (p.s. you should go check it out TheVintageBible.etsy.com )

Anyways so I’m trying to get all this done on my lunch break, with hopefully a little time to spare so I can grab some food. I walk into the Post Office to find 7 people in line in front of me. While waiting in line, I look around for the appropriate sized box to ship it in, only to find there are no more in stock up front. The only one that I see is the floor model.

(all this stress is going to turn me into an old lady)

After about 20 minutes of waiting for the old post man to finally call me up, I inform him that I need the 20x14x10 size box and that there were no more up front. He says, "Let me go check the back." As he made his way to the back I think I noticed that a small slug outran him and beat him to the stock room. After a slow search he produces a 20x20x20 box which is obviously much too big and smartly replies, "Well this too big."
Yes sir, it is.

Frustrated now, and almost late for work, I ask if I can just use the display box which is lying in the corner. After a little deliberation from the postman, I grab the assembled display box from the corner of the post office. He whips out his handy dandy pocket knife to cut the tape from the top of the box so that I can put my suitcase inside. After it’s in, he informs me that I will have to BUY some packing tape to close the now open box which I am shipping.

Just add it to my tab. Its really not even worth the fuss, plus there is now a whole lobby-full of people waiting of ME to be finished

So as you can now see, I have more than enough reason to hate the Post Office.

In other news...

So today is the day that i work all day with a hangover and then drive to Charleston after work for more Spirits and more Celebrations.

Did i mention that i sill havent finished the painting that i am giving my friend for her birthday TONIGHT.

damnit. Haha i have to finish it on my lunch break, yeahhhh ... Hopefully that plan works out as i see it going in my head.. if not i'm screwed.

eww.. and i havent packed yet. And most everything i own is dirty. OH well!!! its still going to be a PARTY

Finally Friday!!

oh thank goodness you are finally here dear friday.

I have been waiting for you all week long

Due to Memorial Day, I'll have off on Monday, and then again on Wednesday (personal day). So guess whos looking at a three day week next week!?!

So i'm going to Charleston on Wednesday, and i'm SO very excited about it. I'll deffinatly be bringing my camera so you can expect a full photo report by next week!

mmmm... Coffee

SO today i'm feeling much better than yesterday! I finally got my camera lens in the mail. I was soooo nervous when i got it because it was a used lens and i was afraid soemthing would be wrong with it. Also another one of my fears was that the problem with my camera wasnt the lens, and i just paid 100 bucks for a new lens, and what if that wasnt the problem. AHHH so lots of " What if's " were running through my little brain.

Anyways so i opened the package.... and slowly put on the new lens and turned it on... and.... Click. everything fit into place perfectly and worked like a dream! I was sooo very very relieved!

Its weird, i didnt relize how much i used my camera until i couldnt use it. I've felt like i was missing something for these past two weeks that its been broken. But now i'm whole again!

I'm so glad you work again dear camera!

Crocodile Dundy Munday

Oh if you could know the many things that happend this weekend. I actually tried to think of something clever to post about today but i'm at a loss for words. Tired. What was suppose to be a relaxing weekend turned sour and stressful

Story of my Weekend

(in a nutshell)

My houdini dogs, found a gap in the backyard fence, and while i was out, got loose.

Ripley: Red Doberman Female

AND

Solo: Red Husky

Anyways i was gone from like 1-5 in the afternoon, and SOME TIME during the course of the afternoon my darlings got loose. I got home at 5 and started to panic. I jumped in my car and started driving around the neighborhood in hopes that i'de see them wandering around. (thankfully they always stick together, so i knew if i found one i'de find the other)

After three whole hours of searching in the rain, the sun set and we decided to call it a night. After a whole night full of restless dreams, i awoke ready for another day of searching. THANKFULLY there are good people still out in the world, and we started finding "FOUND" signs all around the neighborhood and general area.

Turns out they had made it down the highway a couple miles before somone picked them up. I couldnt tell you h ow relieved i was to find my babies again and get them back to the house.

So the fence is fixed and i'm not letting them out of my sight for a good long while.

Needless to say, i'm very glad they're back home

Sigh of relief

BUT, in other news of annoying things that happend this weekend,

I got a flat tire..

UGH

And the tire is pretty much bald anyways so i'm probably just giong to have to buy new tires anyways.
YAY more things to spend money on!!!

Anyways, so now its almost two oclock, and i'm HONGRY

Ohh speaking of FOOD, haha

Tonight for dinner its Spanish Monday

and i'm giong to make some home made EMPANADAS! Mmmmm Mmmm...
