Today, on my way to my morning class, I encountered a member of the local squirrel population sitting in the middle of the pathway. Without thinking, I paused and said, "Excuse me." The squirrel looked at me and took three steps to the side and continued chewing on his acorn. I politely thanked him and continued on my way.

My Dad (who lives in the middle east) Has two beautfil big cats. He started putting birdseed outside his window ledge, and since he has reflective glass the birdies cant see the scary kitties lurking behind. The cats LOVE sitting on the back of the couch and watching their "Kitty TV".

I couldnt sleep last night

They make my heart happy.

Tomorrow I am going to a wedding which is a little bit out of town. Not too far out of town, but probably about an hour drive. I'm excited but also a little stressed because i have yet to find a suitable outfit within my price range.

I found an adorable black dress, simple yet eligant, but i couldnt bring myself to pay 45 dollars for it when i knew i'de probably only wear it a couple times a year. I'm such a penny pincher sometimes.

Work is slow today. We're just hanging out

Love is...

The song that just played on the radio, the missed phonecall, the leftover chinesefood in the fridge, the chipped fingernail polish. A half fishished coke, and the smile as she walks by. Love is the cloudy day, and the single drop of rain that hits you on the top of your head. The kisses you blow, the clothes you wear, the 6am morning breath.

Love is the restaurant which we never agree on, the last word in the argument. Its the messy hair and smeared mascara. Love is the last piece of candy and the driver that cuts you off. Its your job and the frustrating day you had. Its the little furry face that waits for you till you get home, the smell of your own bed and the blanket on the back of the couch. Love is the sprinkles on cupcakes and the leftover smell of your cologne.
